Each session gently stretches and strengthens your whole body, especially your core, while calming the mind and improving your balance – leaving you feeling refreshed, centred, and energised.

Exclusive to David Lloyd Clubs, SPIRIT classes combine yoga, Pilates and meditation. Expect a journey of movement centred around building core strength while increasing flexibility and mobility. Ending with a mindful meditation, SPIRIT classes give you the opportunity to simply focus on you for a little while.

SPIRIT Floating Sound Bath takes relaxation to the next level by combining the therapeutic power of sound with the soothing sensation of floating. As you rest weightlessly in the water, calming tones from instruments such as crystal bowls and gongs create gentle vibrations that wash over body and mind. This unique experience promotes deep relaxation, eases tension, and leaves you feeling balanced, refreshed, and completely restored.

SPIRIT Dance Meditation blends free-flowing movement with mindfulness. Set to uplifting music played through headphones, it’s a liberating way to release tension, connect with your body, and find inner calm through rhythm and expression.

SPIRIT Pre and Post Natal classes are specially designed to support mothers through every stage of their journey. Gentle, mindful movements are combined with breathing techniques and relaxation practices to help improve strength, flexibility, and overall wellbeing before and after birth. These sessions create a nurturing space for mums to connect with their bodies, ease tension, and restore energy, while also fostering a sense of calm and balance during this important time.

SPIRIT Sound Meditation is a deeply calming experience that uses soothing soundscapes to guide you into a meditative state. This session combines breathwork and stillness with the gentle tones of sound therapy to help release stress, quiet the mind and restore inner balance. It's the perfect reset for body and mind.

REBELS SPIRIT is an adapted version of the classic SPIRIT class that’s suitable for children and adults alike. The whole family will improve balance and posture, as well as taking time out from the world with a blissful sound meditation section.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I bring to a yoga class?

Wear comfortable clothing for our yoga classes and bring a water bottle if you're doing a more dynamic session. A pair of grip gloves and/or socks can help you feel extra-secure. We have everything else you need, such as yoga mats and props, but feel free to use your own mat if you prefer.

How do I book a yoga class with David Lloyd Meridian?

You can book your yoga class in the Club or through the app – whatever works for you. And if you can’t make it one week, no problem. Just book in for the next one and jump straight back in when you’re ready.

Do I have to book in advance or can I go to yoga spontaneously?

Members need to book your yoga class in advance – and you can do that up to 9 days before the session. If the class you want is full, don’t worry. Just pop yourself on the waitlist for your preferred time. As soon as a space opens up, we’ll let you know so you can jump in.

How do I know if yoga is right for me?

Why not come and give it a go? Our instructors are highly trained and used to teaching people of all ages and experience levels. Have a chat at the start of a class and let them know you're new so they can help adjust the poses to suit you.
