Organiser The organiser of the competition is Meridian Spa & Fitness Deutschland GmbH, Wandsbeker Zollstr. 87-89, 22041 Hamburg Germany. (hereinafter referred to as ‘Meridian Spa’).
Eligibility and winner determination All persons aged 16 or over who are permanently resident in the Federal Republic of Germany and follow the Instagram or Facebook page of Meridian Spa are eligible to participate.
Participation Participation in the competition takes place in cooperation with influencers and the conditions from their stories. To participate in the competition, a contact form must be filled out under the shared link. The prerequisite for participation is the possession of an Instagram or Facebook profile. Meridian Spa reserves the right to disqualify any participant who manipulates the competition or violates these conditions of participation. Disqualification will also take place if there is reasonable suspicion of manipulation or a breach of the conditions of participation. Participation in the Meridian Spa competition is free of charge. The participant only has to pay the fees for the internet connection to the websites with the competition. Participation and the chances of winning are independent of the purchase of products or the ordering of services.
Entry period and prizes The competition will run until 23:59 on 5 June 2024. You can win: 1 family membership for our club in Eppendorf - 2 memberships for adults, child or baby membership for up to 3 children. The winners will be drawn on 06.06.2024. The prizes will not be paid out in cash. Winnings will not be paid out in cash. The winners will be contacted by a member of the Eppendorf team at the end of the entry period.
Data protection We use the data of the participants (Instagram or Facebook name) as well as the name and address data of the winner in order to be able to carry out the competition. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 b) GDPR. Please note that the Instagram or Facebook names and any comments on the post will be retained and can be viewed by third parties as well as Instagram and Facebook if the post is not deleted by the participants. We only transfer the data to our service providers who help us to organise the competition, such as agencies, shipping companies and IT service providers. In exceptional cases, data may also be transferred to third countries in countries in which the above-mentioned contractual partners may be located or process the data. These are primarily countries in the EEA and, in individual cases, countries outside the EEA in which a level of data protection comparable to that in Germany exists, such as the United States of America (USA), provided that EU standard data protection clauses are agreed with the receiving organisation in order to create suitable guarantees in accordance with Art. 46 GDPR and an appropriate level of data protection. Participants have the right to information, rectification or erasure, restriction of or objection to the processing of their data and data portability. Participants also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
Disclaimer / change to the conditions of participation Meridian Spa is not liable for the availability of the websites https://www.instagram.com and https://www.facebook.com/ as well as the Instagram and Facebook page of Meridian Spa. Meridian Spa is also not liable for any transmission errors. Meridian Spa may also modify, suspend or terminate the competition if this is necessary due to force majeure or external circumstances beyond Meridian Spa's control or if this is the only way to ensure the proper organisation of the competition.
Final provisions The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. This competition is in no way connected to Instagram or Facebook and is in no way sponsored, supported or organised by Instagram or Facebook. The recipient of the information provided by the user is not Instagram or Facebook, but Meridian Spa. Participants release Instagram and Facebook from any liability resulting from claims in connection with the implementation of the competition (in particular its publication and organisation). All questions, comments or complaints about the competition should be addressed directly to Meridian Spa and not to Instagram or Facebook.
